We are pleased to announce the Georg H. Endress PostDoc Cluster Retreat 2026, which will take place in Valbella from 22 June to 24 June 2026.

The retreat will bring together our fellows with leading experts from within and beyond the cluster, fostering interdisciplinary exchange across a broad range of topics in quantum physics from Complex Quantum Systems and Quantum Information and Communication to Quantum Sensing, Ultracold Matter, and Attosecond Quantum Phenomena and serving as a platform to discuss the future directions of the cluster.

The retreat is held in the heart of the Swiss Alps, the beautiful Valbella Resort is a charming mountain retreat located in Valbella, Graubünden, Switzerland. Surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery offering Swiss hospitality and just a few minutes from the beautiful Heidsee lake.

Check-Out information:

Check-Out is until 11.00 (am) on your day of departure. You can leave your luggage in the seminar-room ‘Stätzerhorn’ in the back near to the terrace. During lunch the room will be closed by the staff.
