School Visit

Our mission is to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for quantum physics, with a particular focus on engaging young people. We welcome school classes and interested groups to our laboratories, offering first-hand insights into everyday research life, offer them also hands-on activities to spark early interest in science.

Unsere Website ist aktuell nur auf Englisch verfügbar. Alle Informationen zu unseren Angeboten finden Sie jedoch auf der Educamint-Website und auf der Website des Departement Physik.

Educational Offers

We offer lab visits, engaging games or  hands-on experiments for school classes of any age.

Games we offer:

  1. Niels’ Chess, a quantum game designed for schools and the public.

Tamás Varga is founder of q-edu-lab.com and Niels’ Chess.

Niels’ Chess provides an accessible way for players to engage with quantum concepts on a traditional board, making it suitable for children as young as 10.

  2. |Hop>, The Quantum Physics Game

João Ferreira is founder of |Hop>.

With |Hop> one can explore the world of atoms and discover the exciting world of physics!

Experiments we offer:

  1. o3q, low-cost experiments on wave optics and quantum optics

As part of the O3Q project various developments were carried out to make experiments on wave and quantum optics more accessible in schools. The results of the work of the Institute for Didactics of Physics at the University of Münster can be found on this website. Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Stefan Heusler and Dr. Alexander Pusch, low-cost experiments on wave optics have been developed, for which further information can be found on this website.

Please contact Klara Bangert if you are interested and we will put together an exciting, age-appropriate program for your school class.
