The mission of the BQC goes far beyond community building in the Basel trinational region. Through targeted events, the BQC groups and PIs reach out to all stakeholders interested in quantum science and technology, from policy makers to the general public.
In 2025, a strong focus will be on the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) proclaimed by the United Nations. This year-long, worldwide initiative will be marked by activities at all levels aimed at increasing public awareness of the importance of quantum science and applications. The calendar below will be regarly updated with the newest events and activities.
